# Change the language of the RunMotion Coach application

**The language in the RunMotion Coach app is by default the same as the phone's primary language**.

It is possible to choose **a specific language for a given app**.

## Choosing the language on iPhone

In the **iPhone settings**, at the bottom of the **list of apps installed on your iPhone**, by tapping on the **RunMotion** app in the list, you can select a specific language for RunMotion: English, French, Spanish, German, or Dutch.

This way, it’s possible to have all other apps in English, for example, and choose another language only for RunMotion Coach.

## Choosing the language on Android

This is only possible on Android 13 and above. Therefore, you will need to update Android if you are using an older version. Otherwise, the RunMotion app will remain in the default language of your phone.

1. On your Android phone, open the Settings app.
2. Tap **System** > **Languages & input** > **Languages**.
3. Select the app you want to modify.
4. Choose a language.
