Find motivating challenges in the RunMotion Coach app!


There are 2 ways to join a challenge: via the app or via a shared link.

In all cases the prerequisite is to download the app and complete the first conversation after installation. If you’re a beginner, we’ll just ask for your first name and to accept the terms of use, it takes less than 2 minutes! If you already run, you just have 2 to 3 extra questions so we can better understand your practice.


Accessing a challenge via the app (public challenges)


For public challenges, go to the list of challenges from your dashboard (1️⃣ and 2️⃣), find your challenge (3️⃣) and finally, join the challenge (4️⃣)!

At any time, you can:

  • Leave a challenge you are participating in (5️⃣),
  • Check which challenge(s) you are part of from your list of ongoing challenges (6️⃣) or directly from your dashboard (7️⃣).



If you participate in a private challenge, you have a direct link to access the challenge. After downloading the app and finishing the first conversation, just tap the link.

The challenge will then open full screen. You can tap Join this challenge to join it (4️⃣).


Make the challenge progress bar go up



To sync your completed activities, connect a tracking app to import your sessions. To do this, go to your Profile (1️⃣), "My RunMotion" (2️⃣) and finally "Connect a tracking app" (3️⃣). Find the logo of the partner app you use: Garmin, Strava, Polar, Suunto, Coros, adidas Running, Apple Health, Fitbit… Once authorized, activities will be synced automatically.


You can revoke access to your activities at any time via the "Disconnect" button (🔟) at the bottom of the page.


You also have the option to manually enter an activity if you don’t use partner apps. In the session description, write "Workout completed" and click on "Create an activity manually".
