In the RunMotion Coach application, it is possible to have a main objective: for a race or a wellness objective such as weight loss.
For the main race goals, it is possible to add one or more preparation races, whose date is BEFORE the main goal, since it is a preparation race 😉
If you have a wellness goal, it is not possible to add a preparation run. If you want to prepare for a race, it is necessary to delete your current goal and create a race goal.
If you want to prepare several races over very different distances, for example a 10km road race and a long trail race over a short period of time, choose the race that is most important to you as your main objective. The training will be focused on this main objective. The preparation races are positioned in your program, and you will find a few days easier before to arrive relatively fresh, and a few days easier after to recover well.
How do I add a main goal?
The main goal is to be created from the timeline, on the message inviting you to create a new goal. A conversation opens to choose this new main goal.
How to add a preparation race?
Only for the main running goals, it is necessary to press the name of the goal at the top of the timeline (next to your profile picture). The details of the goal will appear, then press Manage my goals. You can then Add a race in the section Preparation races. The date of the preparation race must be BEFORE the date of the main goal.
How do I remove a primary or intermediate goal?
The deletion is also done in Manage My Goals, which can be found by pressing the name of the current goal at the top of the timeline (next to your profile picture).
For the main objective, press Change objective.
For the preparation race, press the line of the race to be deleted, the details of the race will open and then the Delete button.
