How to pause your training plan (if you are injured, sick, or on vacation...)?

Are you injured, sick, or going on vacation? And you want to pause your training plan? Find out how to do it below:

🚨For your information, this feature is only available in the Premium version 🚨

**Step 1:** On your RunMotion Coach app, go to the main screen (click on the icon with the RunMotion logo) and then click on 'My fitness status’

**Step 2:** You are injured, sick, or on vacation

Are you injured?

Click on "I’m injured"

Then indicate the injured area(s)

Select the injured area(s). In our example, we will simulate a quadriceps injury. So we select "Quadriceps".

Then click 'next'. Note: You can add comments (optional).

Then indicate the start date of your injury and its end date. Note: if you don't know the end date, leave it 'not defined'.

You can choose to select: 'take a break', ‘reduce the intensity’, 'increase the intensity’ or 'no change'. Finally, you can tell the app which sports you want to practice (strength training / walking / cycling / swimming / running).

👉 Select ‘reduce the intensity’ then click 'next'

That's it! RunMotion Coach has taken into account that you are injured in the quadriceps and has adapted your training plan accordingly. We advise you to see a physiotherapist who can suggest appropriate rehabilitation exercises to speed up your recovery and prevent possible relapses!
