Export a session to my Apple Calendar
Well training means being consistent. And what better way to do that than planning your week?
Before you can export your sessions to your calendar, you first need to give permission to your RunMotion app to connect to your Apple Calendar. Here's how!
✅ Grant permission to export to your Apple Calendar
- Open your RunMotion Coach app, go to your Profile (icon on the right in the bottom menu),
- Access your plan settings via the "My RunMotion" tab,
- Go to "Export training plan" to set up the export to your Apple Calendar,
- Then, choose Apple Calendar from the list,
- If it’s not connected yet, tap the "Connect" button,
- Don’t forget to allow the permission for it to work!
- If everything is good, we’ll let you know. All set?
At any time, you can:
- 8️⃣: Disable the export via the "Disconnect" link,
- 9️⃣ and 🔟: Check the permissions granted for session export.
🚨 Your export no longer works?
Sometimes the export may stop working. There can be various reasons.
Start by removing and reauthorizing access to your calendar directly from your RunMotion Coach app (by repeating the steps above 👆).
⚠ It’s important to grant access to the entire Apple Calendar so that the RunMotion Coach app can add events. To do this:
- Go to Settings on your iPhone,
- Search for RunMotion,
- In the list of apps with access to RunMotion, check that Calendar is set to "Full Access".
When returning to the app, the export should work again.
Even with full access to the calendar, the RunMotion Coach app does not read other events you may have. It simply allows editing of exports made by our app.
