Granting Permission to the RunMotion Coach App to Access Apple Health



To grant permission, there are two options:

If this is your first time granting permission, go to the RunMotion Coach app > My Profile (icon at the bottom right in the menu) > Connect a Tracking App > Apple Health > Connect.

For subsequent times, go to the iPhone Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > RunMotion > Then Allow Read Access for all requested data.

Write access is used for exporting planned sessions.

Retrieving Recent Activities



Each time the RunMotion Coach app comes to the foreground (when you open it), we check if a new Apple Health activity is available on your iPhone. If it is, we retrieve it and display it in the app. This process usually takes just a few seconds.

The activity will also be available when you want to indicate that you’ve completed the planned session.
